VASILONI · USEFUL INFORMATION
Cookie policy
We use only the features needed to present the website and communicate with you. This policy explains what loads here and what happens when you use an external service.
Updated on 20 October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Other technologies, such as local storage or device identifiers, may also store or access information. Consent requirements may apply to these technologies too.
2. What our website uses
| Category | Use |
|---|---|
| Analytics and advertising | We do not load Google Analytics, Google Ads or advertising pixels. |
| Our own browser storage | The website code sets no first-party cookies. It only remembers a manually selected language in sessionStorage for the current tab, as described in section 7. |
| Hosting and security | Website files are served by ROMARG. The provider may manage technical access and security logs, which are distinct from marketing cookies. Our website code does not install its own hosting cookies. |
| Contact form | On submission, your browser navigates to FormSubmit. The service may use cookies and anti-spam checks on its own pages. |
Fonts and the stylised map are served from the website's files. The county map is a local SVG image, not an embedded Google map. Boundary data comes from geoBoundaries; displaying the map does not contact geoBoundaries or install cookies. Source and licence links open only when you choose them.
3. Why there is no consent popup
The current version does not activate optional analytics or marketing technologies requiring a consent choice on the website. We therefore do not display an accept/reject banner or store a consent preference in your browser.
If we introduce such tools, we will update this policy and request consent before activating them, with options to refuse and withdraw consent.
4. External services
Google Maps opens only when you choose its link. When the form is submitted, your browser navigates to FormSubmit, which receives the enquiry details and may show Google reCAPTCHA verification on its own pages. Our website does not load a reCAPTCHA widget during ordinary browsing. External services may use cookies and other technologies under their own policies: FormSubmit, Google and ROMARG. Attribution links also lead to external websites.
5. Browser settings and contact
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary technologies may affect security checks or form submission; you can still use the phone and email on our Contact and information. For personal data processing, also see our privacy policy.
6. QR code and contact file
The QR code is an image served from the website files, without an external redirect or tracking service. The quick contact page and vCard are hosted on the same domain. This feature does not add cookies, use localStorage or sessionStorage, or load analytics tools. Downloading the file does not give the website access to your device's address book.
7. Website language
Your manual language choice is remembered only in sessionStorage, under the key vasiloni-language, for the current tab. The value is only the code ro, en, fr or es. It is used solely to respect your requested language, not for analytics or advertising, and is normally removed when the tab closes. If storage is blocked, the selector still opens your chosen language but the preference is not remembered.
Approximate country detection by IP runs on the server with locally stored DB-IP Lite data; it sets no cookies and contacts no external geolocation service. If detection is unavailable, the website remains in Romanian. The language preference requested through the selector is a visitor-requested personalisation feature; it does not activate tracking or marketing tools.
